I would just like to correct you on one point of you article about Xtra and their pricing.

The $2.50/ Hour rate is for local connection calls to their servers only. The 0800 number still attracts the $4.95/ Hour rate.

If other ISP's in New Zealand are concerned about being undercut be Xtra, surely they can also provide local access at a lesser hourly rate aswell???

After all, isn't this what competion is all about.

Yes, David is correct, in my piece in Aardvark Weekly I did fail to make the distinction. However in the news item in Monday's Aardvark Daily, the differential pricing was mentioned.
