Looks like budding Eforce to me ... dead in 12 months

I respect the opinions you make on the aagalleria site, but
perhaps some facts may help. Only 13% of NZ'ers curently
use ANY site on the net for purchases (A C Neilsen). Our
interest is the 87% who are terrified of this new
thing/medium called internet. Try finding "The Warehouse"
or "House of Travel". After about seven goes our research
groups gave up. Then the big search engines relegate them
down the pages "downunder".

AA Galeria is not for everone. It is for those who want one-
click access to some popular shops, including some big
International Sites (watch this space). It also has the
only total gathering point of almost all car manufactures
on the AutoFair level. Yes, at the moment the loading takes
far too long...give us a week or two as we reduce the
graphics once all the retailers can guarantee the ability
for a custoemr to be able to make a purchase on line.

You completely overlook the BIG FEATURE. Your first
opportunity to earn points on all your purchases on The
Mall. And the ability to join the points programmes on-
line. Points are important to some people, especially those
scared of the fancy internet jargon. This is day one. Watch
how the site improves. Like Rome, it will take a week or
two. I hope when we launch the Auction Point within a
month, even your team may enjoy the bargains.

We respect the technical comments. They have been
identified and are being improved. But for about 800,000
cutomers that own NZAA, this will provide many with the
confidence to use the internet for on-line purchases. Yes
we have a list of many more retailers who want to rent
space. We insist their site must be able to undertake an on-
line purchase. So keep watching. We also have NetCheck job-
hunting on-line and the best accomodation listings in the
Pacific.

Question is, if all the other "shopping sites" are so good
why do only 13% of NZ'ers shop on-line? There is room for
everyone...the simple sites, the complicated ones and the
popular ones. At this moment, we're smiling. But thanks for
your comments. By the way talking of eggs, get them from
Woolworths at the aagalleria and you will get points now!
