Subj: Getting the law changed

It's ver yeasy to say that if you don't like the recording
industry and the current copyright laws then lobby to get
the law changed. But realistically the RIAA and other
similar institutes have far more money and lobbying power
than the general public. Copyright laws which were
originally introduced to protect intellectual property so
that the inventors (or creators) could make money off their
hard work. This has now changed to protecting corporations.
Why should a recording company have rights over a dead
artists work? Why should they be allowed to make money and
no one else?
Copyright laws are not going to be changed as long as
american politics are so dominated by corporations and
money. The only answer is to rip them off and steal from
them. If you liek and album send money directly to the
artists, cut out the now useless middle man.
The sooner thwe recording industry, as it exists at the
moment, dies the better.
