eBay would have to be my first stop. I think I've spent
about 25k in the last two years if my Credit card true
rewards are anything to go by. My latest purchase is a
800x600 DLP Projector for us$750 shipped to nz. On the
local front, I avoid DSE where possible and go to
www.jaycar.co.nz , they now have 3 stores in godzone. They
even know what they're talking about.

As a business and for personal we have always found Ascent
to be excellent. One of the few internet based businesses to
make a real go of it. Their web site and associated services
should be a model for others to follow.

Not sure about the LEDs, but I'm sure they would get them in
if you asked! No, I don't own shares!

I was delighted to see a pamphlet last week from Jaycar Electronics who
have just opened a shop in Christchurch, joining outlets in Newmarket,
Glenfield and Wellington. They are offering such goodies as Sky
retransmitters (including remote extender), keyring digital cameras,
underwater ultra-bright LED torches, learning car remotes, digital rain
gauges and dummy security cameras with active tracking.

Haven't had a chance to check out the shop yet, but it looks like my kinda
place.
