I remember this Australian show used to screen...

And I can't remember one item they mentioned on the show
which actually made it to market. A shame, because they
had some cool stuff on there.

Perhaps TV channels are just concerned about promoting the
positive aspects of the Net.

You know... same old story about the evils as headline
news.

Back in 1999 I won quite a prestigeous award for a
website, and was flown business class to Los Angeles for a
week, all expenses paid, to receive it.

Noone was interested who I contacted regarding some media
about it. And yet, a judge or teacher is busted with some
girly pictures on their PC and it's headline news for a
week.

I remember the Internet show some years ago hosted by
Bruce Davis-Goff and another girl. I even think you were
on it once Mr. Simpson. It was a great show, but was
screen on Sunday afternoons, the most crappiest screening
slot.

In the US there are plenty of tech shows and they are very
interesting to watch.

I think it's just this retarded country we live in

Aardvark responds:
Yes, the show you refer to was sponsored by Xtra and the woman was
Fiona MacDonald (the excellent NZ singer) formerly of Straw People, etc.

Given that I have the perfect face for radio and an ideal voice for
print, my fleeting appearances on your TV screens tend to be just that,
rather brief and hardly worth writing home about :-)
